Today at approximately 10:15 a.m. a construction worker at the Jacksboro High School Gym construction site went into cardiac arrest. Jacksboro Police, Fire, and Faith Community Hospital EMTs were dispatched to the high school campus and immediately began CPR. The worker was transported by ambulance to Faith Community Hospital. No JHS students or staff were involved in this incident. Please join us in praying for the construction worker and his family.

Jacksboro ISD will remain open during the current power outage that is affecting the City of Jacksboro. Parents can pick up your students if you choose to do so. If power is not restored by noon, we will reevaluate the situation and determine if an early dismissal is necessary.
