We do not have a way to file for insurance and cannot administer vaccines to these kids.
Following is our eligibility information:
The Texas Department of State Health Services provides vaccine for children and adults with no insurance, children who have Medicaid or who are underinsured, as well as the American Indian and Native Alaskan population. We cannot provide vaccine for those with CHIP, Medicare or private insurance. If your private insurance covers vaccines, you will be referred to your physician. Parent or guardian over the age of 19 must accompany a minor under the age of 18. Texas Vaccines For Children vaccines are provided for $10.00 per visit, with a maximum of $20.00 per household. Adult vaccines are $20.00 per visit for adults with no insurance. No one will be denied services due to inability to pay.
So basically, we mainly serve kids with no insurance, or who are underinsured and kids with Medicaid.
