Homecoming 2019 Schedule Announced
Homecoming Activities for 2019 have been announced. Please check out the scheudle below. We look forward to seeing all of you at the JHS Homecoming Festivities!
Monday, September 16th
8:00 PM-Bonfire at Lake
Friday, September 20th
11:00 AM – Begin lining up for Parade behind Methodist Church.
1:00 PM – Parade in downtown Jacksboro. If you would like to enter a car, float, trailer, etc. please contact Dr. Liz Spears @ 940-567-7204 ext. 339 or email her at email@example.com. Email is preferred since it will document your entry in writing for Dr. Spears. There is no charge for an entry in the Homecoming parade.
2:00 PM – Homecoming Queen and Class Princess Coronation in the High School gymnasium immediately following completion of the parade.
3:00 PM – Pep Rally in the High School gymnasium.
3:45 PM – Annual Business Meeting of the JHS Ex-Students Association @ JR’s Chophouse Courtyard.
3:30 – 5:00 – A wine and cheese reception will be held at JR’s Chophouse in conjunction with the business meeting. This reception is free to all JHS Ex-Student Association members. There will be a $10 admission for non-members and this will include admission to the reception and a 1 year membership to the JHS Ex-Student Association. Lifetime memberships can also be purchased at the reception for $100. Everyone is encouraged to attend, especially if you are having a reunion this year. The Classes of 1949, 1959, 1969, 1979, 1989, 1999 and 2009 will be recognized at the business meeting, so please make plans to attend.
4:30 – 7:00 PM – Junior Class dinner in the High School cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased from any member of the Junior Class or at the High School office (940-567-7204). The price for advance tickets will be $12 and tickets at the door will be $15. “To go” plates will also be available.

7:00 PM – Pre-game ceremonies at Tiger Stadium. Homecoming Queen will be crowned and Class Princesses will be recognized. Coming Home King & Queen will be honored.
7:30 PM – Kick-off for Tiger Football game vs Wichita Falls City View!!
8:00 – 11:00 PM – Jr’s Chophouse will be open with a cash bar for a time of visiting and reconnecting with former high school friends and classmates.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST
9:00 – 10:30 - Muffins and Memories will be held at the Jack County Museum. Please make plans to stop by the Jack County Museum at 241 W. Belknap on Saturday morning for a tour of the museum. There has been a tremendous amount of work put into the museum, so don’t miss an opportunity to stop by and check it out.
