Hi! My name is Taryn Weaver! This is my 11th year as a teacher, but my first year at JES! I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade math and science this year.

I was born and raised in Gordon, Texas, and attended Tarleton State University to receive my Bachelor's degree in Child&Family Studies. I began my teaching career at Travis Elementary in Mineral Wells before moving back home to Gordon to teach for the past 5 years. I was a substitute at JES last year while we settled into town, and I fell in love with the school, students, and staff!!

My husband, Curtis(a 2002 JHS graduate), my 6 year old twins, Cache and Clayre, and I are excited to begin our new life in Jacksboro. I look forward to many fun years ahead!
