Mr. Craig Parson
Howdy All!
I was born and raised in Odessa, TX. I went to Texas A&M University and received a bachelor's degree in Zoology. I started teaching in Paradise, TX. I then taught middle school science in Tom Bean, TX for 10 years. My family moved to Kentucky where I taught Earth and Space Science and Chemistry for 3 years in Lexington. I then ended up back in Texas and worked as a Science Instructional Coach at McKinney Boyd High School. Here I also taught Physics, IPC and Environmental Systems. After 12 years in that role, my family moved to Jacksboro where I am now teaching Biology and Health Science.
I've been married for 29 years. My wife, Samantha, is the Senior Pastor at Jacksboro United Methodist Church.
We have one daughter, Jacqueline, who just graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. She is preparing to enter the Peace Corps.
We have a great dane, Lola, and two cats, Knyla and Stella.
