Each day before the bell rings you will:
Get out your notecards, notebook, pencil, calculator and homework. Sharpen pencils etc BEFORE the bell rings.
Sit down and be quiet
Begin bellwork as indicated.
Put all bags and purses etc on the floor.
These are the ground rules for this class. Not abiding by these rules will result in a lunch detention in this room. Not coming to lunch detention results in TWO morning office detentions.
Other rules are:
Absolutely NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED. This includes water.
NO GUM……My policy has always been if I can see it or hear it…..you throw the gum away. First time is a warning; if I have to tell you a second time you will have a lunch detention. DO NOT PUT GUM UNDER THE TABLES. Please dispose of gum and trash in the proper receptacles.
No combing hair or putting on makeup.
No uninvited talking.
Follow all directions the first time they are given.
Do not distract others.
Make smooth and quiet transitions between activities.
We always work until the bell rings. REMEMBER – I DISMISS THE CLASS NOT THE BELL.
ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONES at any time. If a cell phone is out for any reason it will be taken up, detention given, and the phone will be taken to the office. Cell phones are not to be used as watches or clocks.
Other electronic devices such as IPads, Kindles, Nooks or other tablets or laptops etc will be allowed as needed.
