Yes! Spanish is spoken here.

The Spanish language, as with other latin-based languages, has contributed vastly to the English language. About 2000 years ago, when the Iberian Peninsula was a part of the Roman Empire, many artisans from that area made their livings by carving statues. These statues were sold or traded throughout the Roman Empire. If any flaws occurred during the carving process, the more dishonest carvers would fill the flaws or holes with beeswax mixed with stone-powder available from the carving process. The flaws did not become apparent until the statues arrived at an outside location and baked in the hot sun. The heat of the sun would soften and melt the beeswax mixture, exposing the flaws. Buyers became aware of this cheating process and began to demand carvings that were guaranteed "sin cera". The Spanish word "sin" means "without" and the word "cera" means "wax". After a few more centuries , the words gathered recognition in the English language and gradually morphed into the word "sincere", meaning "honest" or "true".
