Mrs. Fudge's Second Grade
by Becky Fudge

My name is Becky Fudge. I have been teaching for 18 years. I taught 3rd grade for 2 years and Kindergarten for the last 16. I am very excited about the new challenge of teaching in second grade this year. I graduated from Midwestern State University with a teaching degree and an Early Childhood Endorsement. I also have my ESL certification.
I have been married to Brad for 22 years. We have 2 children. Caitlin is 16 and Ethan is 11. I love to read, draw/paint, go to movies and cook. I stay very busy going to my kids sporting events and activities. My family loves the country life and spends a lot of time fishing and hunting. Brad used to Pro Rodeo and now bucks and sells bucking bulls. I love animals. We have several dogs and cats.
I LOVE to teach. I treat the students in my classroom the same way I want my own children to be treated- with love, respect and patience. I think learning should be fun and I like to have fun in class! I encourage parents to be a part of what's going on in the classroom and I welcome parent volunteers.

Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself. Listen when someone is talking. Follow directions the first time they are given. Act quietly and appropriately in the halls, restrooms and cafeteria. Bring all necessary materials to class.

Every day that your child does not get into trouble, they will receive a "Dino Dollar". Dino Dollars can also be earned throughout the day for working hard, listening, being helpful and polite. Dino Dollars can also be taken away for not following the rules and/or misbehavior. Every Friday Dino Dollars can be spent in the class store to buy prizes, OR Dino Dollars can be saved to buy bigger prizes later on. The kids will be learning about the value of money and how to save money too!
